OK, so here's the first blog in what will hopefully be a long and storied blogging career. I guess I can start out by asking "is anybody out there"? At this stage of the game I feel a bit like a man left behind on the moon, typing in a journal no one will ever read. Well, maybe I shouldn't say no one, I'm sure my wife and Ron will read these once in a while, so until this reaches the throngs of eager followers, I hope I can keep the two of you entertained and informed.
USA soccer started my day off on the right foot(bad pun), with about a minute to go Landon Donovan scored the only goal of the game, well, the only goal the refs didn't call off for some bogus reason. I just heard this was the first time the U.S. has won there group since 1930! Not bad. So we live to fight another day, Saturday to be exact, the match starts at 11:30am. The crowds at Murphy's have been growing with every U.S. victory, so I expect a lot of people here on Saturday, I hope we see you here. In fact, If your wearing a U.S. flag the first beer is on us.
